OUR CULTURE

Hope's Path believes that each young adult has been given unique strengths and talents from God that should be fostered and developed to their highest potential.  The Hope's Path program is designed to help better identify and build upon these innate strengths and encourage their development through continuous encouragement, love, and support. We strive to promote a spirit of growth, excellence and encouragement among each of the young adults in the program and challenge them to work alongside their brothers and sisters in Christ in teamwork towards their goals.  Our program participants will be consistently challenged and held to high standards in their respect for themselves and others as they progress through the program within the framework of a safe, loving, and supportive environment.

OUR VALUES

ENCOURAGE!  But encourage one another daily, as long as it is still called ‘today’. (Hebrews 3:13)

Excellence- Whatever you do, work at it wholeheartedly as though you were doing it for the Lord and not merely for people.  (Colossians 3:23 ISV)

Nobility- But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. (1 Peter 2:9 NIV)

Community- For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. (Romans 12:4-5)

OpportunitySo be careful how you live. Don't live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days. Don't act thoughtlessly, but understand what the Lord wants you to do. (Ephesians 5:15-17)

Unity- Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. (Ephesians 4:2-3)

Responsibility - So be careful how you live. Don't live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days. Don't act thoughtlessly, but understand what the Lord wants you to do. (Ephesians 5:15-17)

Accountability - From everyone who has been given much, much will be required; and to whom they entrusted much, of him they will ask all the more. (Luke 12:48)

Growth - When I was a child I used to speak like a child, think like a child, reason like a child.  When I became a man, I did away with childish things. (1 Corinthians 13:11)

Endurance - Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. (Hebrews 12:1-2)
